The Alfa Romeo Spider goes one step further. Its style is reminiscent of the legendary Giulietta Spider with the unmistakable classic rear styling. The pure Italian sleek design is inspired by Giugiaro and Pininfarina.

Increased power, lower consumption. In today’s world the desire for greater performance must be balanced against the need to reduce fuel consumption and exhaust emissions. Alfa Romeo has therefore developed two new engines that already conform to Euro 5 standards. The first is the 1750 TBi Turbo Petrol 200 bhp engine. This power unit delivers an amazing 320 Nm of torque at only 1400 rpm, giving fantastic acceleration and a superbly smooth drive without you having to “work” the gearbox. The 2.

In addition to the new Euro 5 engines, you can specify a 3.2 JTS V6 260 bhp engine with optional Q4 four wheel drive, and the choice of Q-Tronic automatic transmission. The 3.2 JTS V6 incorporates Alfa Romeo’s exclusive Twin Phaser variable valve timing system that delivers amazing torque even at low engine speeds. Diesel lovers can go for the 2.

The heart of this system is the Twindiff central differential, an evolution of the Torsen C, that ensures permanent dynamic distribution of engine torque to all four wheels to match driving conditions.
