Lightweight concrete has a core of ber reinforced cement board.
Throughout the world, this is also used for facade panels to
decorate exterior walls because of its many advantages. It’s very
strong, durable, stable and it can withstand the elements water
and re. We have chosen the same material for our lightweight
concrete tops, making these tops solid, stable and−unlike other
resin materials−our Lightweight Concrete tops perform very
well under all kinds of weather conditions. The combination
of a beautiful design and this quality material ensures that our
Lightweight Concrete tables provide many years of enjoyment.
LIGHTWEIGHT
CONCRETE (LWC)
Apple Bee furniture collection by Alfresco Home is entirely
handmade. The frame is manufactured from aluminum, with
no concessions made in wall thickness or nish. The welds are
of rst-rate quality, the screws are of high-grade steel, and the
frame is anodized in a matte or high-gloss nish, or treated with
color epoxy. A unique feature of the range is that the frames are
interwoven with special Biculair
®
Everwoven
TM
. Biculair Everwoven
was originally developed for professional use. This highly durable
imitation rattan ber (HDPE) is fully weather-resistant, colorfast,
recyclable and environmentally friendly. This means that the
appearance and performance of the furniture is not affected by
weather conditions and that the colors retain their natural quality,
even better than real rattan! The top-class quality of Everwoven
TM
,
tested by the Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientic
Research (TNO), stands out against that of other somewhat
comparable wickerwork.
