Limited Residential Product Warranties – Casual Furniture
Alfresco Home furniture is warranted against all manufacturer defects in
materials and workmanship as outlined below:
Cast and Ex truded Aluminum
• 22 se r ies: 10 years from the date of purchase on frames, 2 years on Finish
and wicker, and 1 year on sling and factory cushions.
• 54 Se r ies: 5 years from date of purchase on frames, 2 years o n finish and
wicker, and 1 year on sling and factory cushions (direct cont ainer only).
• 55 se r ies: 5 years from the date of purchase on frames, 2 years on finish,
and 1 year on LP Burner components.
• 56 Se r ies: 5 years from date of purchase on frames, 2 years o n finish , and
1 year on sling.
• For Cast/Extruded Aluminum frames, the limited warranty covers broken
welds, broken arms, and broken legs.
Cast/Extruded Aluminum and Everwoven™ All-Weather Wick er
• 41 Se r ies: 3 years from date of purchase on frames, 2 years o n finish and
wicker, and 1 year on factory cushions (direct container only).
• 54 Se r ies: 5 years from date of purchase on frames, 2 years o n finish and
wicker, and 1 year on sling and factory cushions (direct cont ainer only).
Everwoven™ All-Weather Wick er
• 43 Se r ies: 3 years from date of purchase on ALUM INUM frames, 2 years
on wicker, and 1 year on IRO N frames and factory cushions (direct
cont ainer only).
• 353 Se r ies: 3 years from date of purchase on frames, 2 years on finish and
wicker, and 1 year on factory cushions (direct container only).
Eucalyptus Wood and Everwoven™
• 46 Se r ies: 3 years from date of purchase on aluminum frames, finish,
wicker and FSC Eucalyptus Wood, and 1 year on factory cushions (direct
cont ainer only).
Ex truded Aluminum and Polywood Composite, Textilene & Synthetic Rope
• 300 Se r ies: 3 years from date of purchase on frames, finish, polywood
composite and synthetic rope, 2 years on textilene, and 1 year on factory
cushions ( direct container only).
Warranty Ge neral Terms
• Frames are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship.
• Alfresco Home reserves the right to inspect all items claimed to be
defective.
• All warranty claims are made to the original purchaser with proof of
purchase.
• Under the terms of these warranties, the manufact urer will repair or
replace any item if deemed necessary. If disco ntinued, it will be replaced
with a similar style and finish.
• Any warranty issue must be brought to the attention of the retail vendor
and will only be honored after inspect ion and with dated receipt of
purchase (proof of purchase).
• Warranties are not transferable.
• All Weather Wicker is warranted against peeling, cracking, and fading.
Warranty Exceptions
• Commercial use voids these warranties.
• Ge n e r al frame rusting on iron frames, including rust and rust drips, is not
covered.
• Damage to frames, weld or wicker due to improper assembly, and
improper use and care (including overwinter care, exposu re to water and
exposure to su b-freezing temperatures) are not covered.
• Damage outside of normal wear and tear (chips, scratches, rips) including
exposure to the elements, oils, spills, fluids, chemicals or any other causes
are not covered.
• Fading or discoloration that naturally occurs with wood products is
excluded.
• FSC Eucalyptus tables and components have a hand applied finish that
creates a n atural weathered effect . Variation in color and tone as well as
slight surface imperfections are deemed as n ormal and not covered.
• Gl ass table top damage, regardless of the time frame or occurrence, is not
warranted.
Product Maintenance and Care – Casual Furniture frames
Cast and Ex truded Aluminum (22, 54. 55 and 56 Se r ies)
The Alfresco Home cast and extruded aluminum collections offer several
frame-finish options. We stock the large majority of product in the frame
finish shown in our catalogue. These products offer the following features:
• Pure aluminum (54 series) or recycled aluminum (55 and 56 series)
• Casting benefits include strong, durable, clean and quality finished goods
• Tubular density up to 1.6 mm
• Stainless steel/galvanized hardware
• Adjustable feet levelers
The finish on these products provides style, comfort, quality, function,
durability, and value by including:
• Highly durable, multi-step powder-coated finishes
• Surfaces inspect ed, pre-treated, and washed in a cleansing solution
• Aluminum is dried in high-heat oven, cooled, and high heat base color
applied
• The top coat hand-applied finish es are bonded, clear-coated and UV
stabilized
Pr oduct Care and Maintenance, Cast and Ex truded Aluminum
We recommend the following to protect your beautiful aluminum furniture:
• Frame cleaning with mild soap only. In no way use harsh chemicals or
abrasives to clean furniture.
• Annually clean product . Thoroughly remove dirt, grime, debris, and water.
• All frames and product exposed to chlorine, salt water, and or other
chemicals need to be hosed off immediately.
• If mold or mildew should build up (which occurs on all outdoor products
from surrounding elements of outdoor maintenance) it is recommended
to use a mix of a 1/ 4 cup of bleach to 3 gallons of water and a so ft non-
abrasive sponge to best clean your furniture.
• Clean and dry thoroughly prior to storing over winter.
• Always drain any water that may have accumulated over winter or during
cleaning.
• Protect finishes with commercially available covers when not in use.
Covers are strongly recommended in extremely high heat and sun, as well
as snow and cold conditions.
Eucalyptus Wood and Everwoven™ All Weather Wick er (46 Series)
Alfresco Home offers a number of collections combining eucalyptus wood
and our Everwoven™ All-Weather Wicker. These collections combine the
natural beauty of hand-stained eucalyptus wood with synthetic all-weather
wicker over aluminum frames. The vintage driftwood patina on the
eucalyptus showcases the natural elements in the wood while also
highlighting the variations within the wood and wicker patinas.
Alfresco Home uses FSC® certified eucalyptus wood. FSC®’s forest
management standards expand protection of water quality, prohibit harvest
of rare old-growth forest, prevent loss of natural forest cover and prohibit the
use of highly hazardous chemicals. This wood is harvested in an eco-friendly
manner, resp onsibly grown, gathered, and replenished to prevent
deforestation. Eucalyptus wood is organic and its naturally high oil count
makes the wood, and subsequently the furniture, resistant to decay, insect
infestation, and significant discoloration.
• The Vintage Taupe Brown finish on our eucalyptus tables yields a stain-
free and waterproof surface for approximately 12-18 months.
• Each table and chair is h and -finished; no two pieces will be alike.
Additionally, each piece of wood absorbs the hand-applied patina
differently, so variations on any table top or chair part are to be expected.
• Over time, Eucalyptus wood product s develop a natural grey patina. This
is no rmal and should be expected. The Alfresco Home FSC® Eucalyptus
products have a hand-stained finish that simulates a natural, weathered-
wood look.
