After pressing the Generate Range button, DMX table

shown in the following picture is automatically

generated. Scrolling through the list reveals that there

are indeed 20 values present and they appear to be

equally spaced. Note that a preﬁx of “D” was speciﬁed,

thus the descriptions are “D1”, “D2”, “D3”, etc.

There is also a checkbox if having the ﬁrst number be

zero is preferable to a one. In the case of a dimmer or

any other device that is actually in the o" state at the low

end of the range, this may be a good option to consider.

Further, if you would rather see the actual DMX value

appear such as “13” instead of “D2” in this example,

check the “Use values as labels” checkbox.
