6000W Generator Assembly Wheel Kit Installation 1 Start by installing the rubber floor mounts onto the support leg as shown. Note: The leg should be installed on the same side as the pull handle. 2 Here is the hardware required to install the support leg. Place a block of wood under the generator so that you don’t have to hold it up while trying to install the leg. Place the support leg under the frame. Push the bolt thru the frame and thru the leg. Thread a nut onto the bolt. Tighten with a wrench.
Owner’s Manual Operation Fuel tank Control Panel Fuel Switch Pull Start NOTE: THE PARTS LISTED ABOVE ARE HELPFUL FOR LOCATING THE CONTROLS MENTIONED BELOW. CAUTION: PRIOR TO FIRST USING THE GENERATOR, THE ENGINE MUST BE FILLED WITH OIL OF A HIGH QUALITY SAE 10W-30 GRADE ENGINE OIL. TO DO SO, UNSCREW AND REMOVE THE ENGINE’S OIL DIPSTICK LOCATED AT THE BOTTOM OF THE ENGINE CRANKCASE. Prior to powering tools and equipment, make sure the generator’s rated voltage, and amperage capacity (120V AC @ 42 AMPs) is adequate to supply all electrical loads that the unit will power. If powering exceeds the generator’s capacity, it may be necessary to group one or more of the tools and/or equipment for connection to a separate generator.
Fuel Sediment Cup Cleaning Fuel sediment cup prevents dirt or water which may be in the fuel tank from entering the carburetor. If the engine has not been run for a long time, the sediment cup should be cleaned. 1. Turn the fuel valve to the OFF positioin. Remove the sediment cup and O-ring. 2. Clean the sediment cup, and O-ring, in nonflammable or high flash point solvent. 3. Reinstal O-ring and sediment cup. 4. Turn the fuel valve ON and check for leaks.
