willactivateyourxturetooperateaccordingtothesettingschosen.

TROUBLESHOOTING
MOUNTING YOUR FIXTURE
NOTE:Universalcoverplatemountstorecessedor
surfacemountedstandardjunctionboxes(Fig.2).
Junctionboxmustbeatleast1-1/2˝indepthforproper
installationforrecessedmountapplication.
NOTE:Forbestperformancewheninstallingmorethan
onePrecisionPlusDopplerRadar™xture:
•Twoormoreunitsmountedsidebyside(facingthe
samedirection)shouldbeatleast17feetapart.
•Twounitsfacingeachothershouldbemountedat
least100feetapart.
•Fixturecanbewalloreavemounted(Fig.3).
WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Disconnect power
at fuse or circuit breaker before installing or servicing.
1. Lineuptheholesonthemountingbracket(B)with
theholesonyourjunctionbox.Usingeither(2)#6
screwsor(2)#8screws(C)(dependingonthesize
oftheholesinyourjunctionbox),attachthemounting
bracket(B)toyourjunctionbox(Fig.4).
2. Threadxturewiresthroughcoverplategasket(D).
3. Positionthegasket(D)onthecoverplateandconnect
theblackwirefromthexture(A)totheblackhouse
supplywireandthewhitewirefromthexture(A)
tothewhitesupplywireusingthewirenuts(E)
provided.Attachthegroundwirecomingfromyour
housetothecoppergroundwirefromthexture(A)
usingwirenut(E)provided.Ifnohousegroundwire
isavailable,attachthecoppergroundwirefrom
thexture(A)tothejunctionboxifitismetaland
grounded.Ifjunctionboxisnotmetalandnohouse
groundwireisavailable,analternativeground
sourcemustbeusedforsafeoperation(Fig.5).
4. Attachxture(A)tothemountingbracket(B)
usingthemountingplatescrew(F)provided.
Besurenoloosewiresremainstickingoutfrom
underneaththecoverplate.Insertplasticcolor-
matched(G)pluginmountingplatescrewhole
fornishedappearance(Fig.6).
5. Applysiliconecaulkingaroundedgesofcoverplateand
inanyopenholestoprovideawatertightsealfrom
rainandmoisture.
6. Installprotectivelampcovers(H)ontolampholders
byliningupthenipplesonthecovers(H),overthe
lampholderslots.Lockintoplacebytwistingcovers
counterclockwise(Fig.7).
7. Insertgaskets(I)intolampholdersandscrew
bulbsintoeachlampholder(Fig.8).(Donotover
tightenbulbs.)
8. Turnpoweronatmainfuse/breakerbox.
AIMING THE LIGHT
Loosentheknobonthesideofthelampholder.
Tiltlampholderupordowntodesiredposition,then
retightenknob.
WARNING: Deviation from the assembly instructions
may result in a risk of electric shock.
OPERATING YOUR FIXTURE
1. TurnthearrowontheMODEknobto“TEST”fortest
mode(Fig.9).
2. TurnthearrowontheSENSITIVITYknobtoamiddle
pointbetween“+”and“-”.
3. Turnonthepowertothexture(A).Allowxtureto
warmupapproximately90secondsbeforetesting.
(Lightsmayormaynotcomeonduringwarm-up
period;thisisnormal.)
4. Aimsensortowardthegeneraldirectionthatmotion
willbecomingfrom.Maintainatleast1˝ofclearance
betweensensorheadandlamps.Alwaysposition
thesensorheadwithcontrolswitchesfacingtoward
theground.
NOTE: (Sensor Head Placement) Foroptimumdetection,
youmayhavetoexperimentwithaimingandsettings.
Eachlocationwillbedifferentandyourterrainmay
affecttheangleyoursensorneeds.Adjustingtheangle
willchangeyourareaofdetection.Herearesome
generalguidelinestohelpwithsetup:
•8´-12´abovethegroundisagoodrangeforthe
placementofyourxture.
•Foran8´mountingheight,placingthesensorata
5°anglebelowhorizontalshouldworkwellfor
mostlocations(Fig.10).
