2.7.2.1 CDP Connections
Connect the CAT 5/6 Ethernet cable with bare wires in parallel with the DCP-to-CDP
RS-485 wires in the terminal box that is also used to connect the DCP to the CDP. The
bare wires on the Ethernet cable from the RJ-45 jack must be matched with the specified
colors inside the terminal box.
• Connect the RS-485(+) blue wire to the screw terminal associated with the red
wire.
• Connect the RS-485(-)green and green/white wires to the screw terminal
associated with the green wire.
• Connect the RS-485 blue/white wire to the screw terminal associated with the
black wire.
