Product Description

Control and Load Switches

Bulletin 194C control switches, Bulletin 194L control and load

switches, and Bulletin 194E load switches are flexible and adapt-

able time- and space-saving devices. These switches can be

front-mounted (door) or base/DIN Rail-installed. The control and

load switches are suitable for a wide range of applications, offer

flexibility, and have an attractive, uniform design. The many pos-

sible combinations of control and load switches make them

adaptable for almost any application.

ON-OFF Switches

Rugged switch used to switch the power supply on and off. They

are used in a variety of control and power applications. Typical

control applications include energising solenoids, actuators,

valves, magnetic starters, and contactors. Power applications

include manual control of direct-on-line motors as well as isola-

tion of motor branch circuits.

Changeover Switches

Three-position switch for switching between two power sources.

Changeover switches are frequently used to switch to an emer-

gency power supply in case of main power supply failure.

Star-Delta Switches

Three-position switch (OFF, Star, Delta) used to manually control

the reduced voltage starting of a motor. As soon as the operator

determines that the motor is up to speed, operating the switch

changes the motor’s electrical configuration from a star to a delta

configuration.

Reversing Switches

Three-position switch to manually control the direction of rotation

of a motor. Operating the switch changes the direction of the

motor rotation between forward and reverse.

Ammeter Selector Switches

Multi-position switch used to connect one or more phases of an

electrical supply to an ammeter so that the current in each phase

can be displayed on one ammeter.

Voltmeter Selector Switches

Multi-position switch used to connect the two lines of an electrical

supply system to a voltmeter so that the voltage between the

lines (phase-to-phase or phase-to-neutral) can be displayed on

one voltmeter.

Step Switches

Multi-position switch used to connect a variety of loads to an

electrical supply in a pre-determined logical sequence. A Typical

application would be temperature control of a heating oven or

furnace.

Disconnect Switch

The Bulletin 194E Load Switch fulfils the safety requirements for

disconnect switches. Protect the switching off and separation

functions by allowing a large isolation distance between the

opened contacts.
