Before beginning installation of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with
package contents list and diagram above. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to
install the product. Contact customer service for replacement parts.

INSIDE MOUNT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Measure the “inside” width and height dimension of your desired shutter installation. Compare
your installation size to the size of the shutter set you purchased. The overall width of your
shutter set includes the shutter panels (A), 2 hanging strips (B) and 16 filler strips (C).
For inside mounting our filler strips (C) are an incredibly easy way to adjust the width of the
shutter set, without having to use a saw. Each filler strip (C) is 1/8 in. thick. To reduce the
overall width of the frame set by 1/8 in., simply peel off 1 filler strip (C). With the 16 filler strips
(C) provided, you can adjust the overall width up to 2 inches. If you peel off too many strips (C),
simply snap back into place.

Step 2: (Fig. 2)
Hang the shutter panels (A) onto the hanging
strips (B).
Optional: Install knob (DD) and hook (GG) set
using the 1 in. screw (CC) and flat washer (FF).

Step 1: (Fig. 1)
Install hanging strips (B) into the window jamb
using the provided 2 1/2 in. screws (AA). Filler
strips (C), if needed, fit between the hanging
strip (B) and window jamb.
Push screw plugs (EE) into screw hole until flush
with surface of hanging strip (B).
IMPOR TANT - Always use a proper anchoring
device (not included).
NOTE - All shutters can be shortened prior to
installation. See page 6 for instructions.
