121. Smart Card Maximum Value
“+121”
This option allows the owner to set the maximum card
balance that will be accepted. If a Cash Value card is
inserted with a balance greater than this value, it will
not be accepted.
How to Program Smart Card Maximum
Value
1. Control must be in Manual Mode. Refer to
Entering the Manual Mode.
2. Press the DELICATES (+) or the COLD (-)
keypad until “PrOg” appears in the VFD. Press
the START (enter) keypad and “+001” will
appear in the VFD.

3. Press the DELICATES (+) or the COLD (-)
keypad to scroll through the programmable
options until “+121” appears in the VFD. Refer
to Figure 199.

4. When “+121” appears in the VFD, press the
START (enter) keypad. There are five digits in
the Smart Card Maximum Value. The fifth digit
will appear in the VFD and will flash one second
on, one second off. Refer to Figure 200.

5. Press the DELICATES (+) or the COLD (-)
keypad to increase or decrease the value of the
fifth digit. Refer to Figure 201.

6. Press the START (enter) keypad to enter the fifth
digit and display remaining four digits. The
active digit will flash one second on and one
second off. Refer to Figure 202.
