Removing a Power Supply
Before removing a PSU from the router:
■ gather the necessary tools and equipment
■ read the section “Using an AT-PWR03 Power Supply (PSU)” on page 9
Warning Disconnect the power cord before removing the PSU.
1. Disconnect the power to the PSU.
For AC models, turn off the main power supply to the PSU and disconnect
the power cord.
For DC models, push the run/standby button on the back of the PSU, so that
the PSU is in the standby position. When the button is not depressed, it is
in standby. Disconnect the supply cable from the PSU and the DC power
supply. To remove the DC plug from the back of the PSU, squeeze the two
locking tabs while pulling out.
2. Remove the PSU.
Use a Phillips #2 screwdriver to loosen the two captive Phillips screws until
the they are free of the router.
Slide the PSU out slowly and carefully. Support the device from underneath
as you remove it to prevent it from falling.
Caution Cover empty bays with the blanking plate provided to prevent dust
and debris from entering the chassis, as this could overheat or damage the
PSU and router.
