Configuring the Stack’s Name, Location, and Contact
This procedure assigns a name to the switch. The name appears at the
top of the web browser windows. Names can help you identify your
switches when you manage them and avoid performing a configuration
procedure on the wrong switch. This procedure also assigns the name of
the administrator responsible for maintaining the unit and the location of
the switch.
To assign a name, location, and contact to a switch:
1. From the Home page, click the Configuration button.
2. Click the System button in the Configuration menu.
3. Click the General tab shown in Figure 1.
