Set the Maximum Burst Length (burst) on the Access Point
The Maximum Burst Length (
burst
) specifies (in milliseconds) the
Maximum Burst Length allowed for packet bursts on the wireless network.
A packet burst is a collection of multiple frames transmitted without header
information. The
burst
applies only to the access point (access point-to-
station traffic).
Valid values for maximum burst length are 0.0 through 999.9.
To set the maximum burst length on access point-to-station traffic:
set tx-queue wlan0 with queue
Queue_Name
to burst
burst_Value
Where
Queue_Name
is the queue on the access point to which you want the
setting to apply and
burst_Value
is the wait time value you want to specify
for maximum burst length.
For example, this command sets the maximum packet burst length on the
access point Best Effort queue (data2) to 0.5.
AT-WA7400#
set tx-queue wlan0 with queue data2 to burst 0.5
