7. Install the uplink card into the
lower PCI slot
(Figure 6).
Ensure that the uplink card is fully seated in the
lower PCI slot
.
Align the back edge of the board in the card guide as you are installing
it.

Caution
The uplink card will not function if it is installed into the upper PCI
slot. The upper PCI slot is intended for the accelerator card only.
