This document is a master document for all AVT GigE camera models and is NOT camera specific
PtpAcquisitionGateTime [Integer] R/W
PtpAcquisition trigger time. Used to schedule a synchronized software
trigger on multiple PTP synchronized device. Must be set beyond current camera
GevTimeStampValue. When set, image acquisition stalls. When camera
GevTimeStampValue PtpAcquisitionGateTime, image acquisi-
tion resumes.
PtpMode [Enum] R/W
Controls the PTP behavior of the clock port.
PtpStatus [Enum] R
State of the PTP operation.
PayloadSize [Integer] R
Total size of payload, in bytes.
•If ChunkModeActive = True:
PayloadSize = ImageSize + NonImagePayloadSize + 8
•If ChunkModeActive = False:
PayloadSize = ImageSize

Off [Default] This camera‘s GevTimeStampValue is not

Slave This camera‘s GevTimeStampValue is altered to
align with a master device‘s clock
Master This camera‘s GevTimeStampValue is the master
clock. All other PTP enabled slave devices synchronize
their clock to this camera
Auto This camera uses the IEEE1588 best master clock algo-
rithm to determine which device is master, and which are
slaves. It may be assigned as either
Off [Default] Camera PtpMode set to Off
Master This camera acting as master clock
Synching PTP synchronization not yet achieved. Slave(s) are
synching with master
Slave PTP synchronization among devices achieved. This
camera is acting as a slave to another device‘s master
clock
Error Synchronization is lost
