Serial number (a)
The camera’s serial number is stored as 16-bit value. Use the command a to
read it.
Product variant code (b)
The product variant code is a 16-bit number unambiguously identifying the
camera variant. Use command b to read it.
Note

The serial interfaces are not reinitialized by Z=1. The baud
rate does not change until re-start of the camera or explicitly
writing a new value to the serial interface configuration
parameter s.
