Note Effective with Cisco IOS Release 12.4(20)T, the mpls atm disable-headend-vc command is not
available in Cisco IOS software.
To remove all headend virtual circuits (VCs) from the Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) Label
Sw
itch Controller (LSC) and disable its ability to function as an edge label switch router (LSR), use the
mpls atm disable-headend-vc command in global configuration mode. To restore the headend VCs of
the MPLS LSC and restore full edge LSR functionality, use the no form of this command.
mpls atm disable-headend-vc
no mpls atm disable-headend-vc
Syntax Description This command has no arguments or keywords.
Defaults Edge LSR is enabled.

of
LVCs used in the network.
Examples The following example shows how to disable the MPLS LSC from acting like an edge LSR and therefore
