• If you select a tunnel, the tunnel tailend must be on the remote PE router.
• If you specify an IP address, that address must be the IP address of the loopback interface on the
remote PE. The address must have a /32 mask.
Examples The following example creates a pseudowire class and specifies tunnel 1 as the preferred path:
Router(config)# pseudowire-class pw1
Router(config-pw)# encapsulation mpls
Router(config-pw)# preferred-path interface tunnel 1 disable-fal
