IFC State The operational state of the interface, according to the switch. Can be one
of the following:
• FAILED-EXT (that is, an external alarm)
• FAILED-INT (indicates the inability of the MPLS LSC to communicate
with the VSI slave controlling the interface, or another internal failure)
• REMOVED (administratively removed from the switch)
Physical Descriptor A string learned from the switch that identifies the interface.
