Static Routes Using a DHCP Gateway Examples
The following example shows that IP route 10.8.8.0 is directly connected to the Internet and is the
next-hop (option 3) default gateway. Routes 10.1.1.1 [1/0], 10.3.2.1 [24/0], and 172.2.2.2 [1/0] are static,
and route 10.0.0.0/0 is a default route candidate.
