Command History
Usage Guidelines SNMP notifications can be sent as traps or inform requests. This command enables both traps and inform
re
quests.
This command enables or disables MPLS traffic engineering tunnel notifications. MPLS tunnel
st
ate-change notifications, when enabled, will be sent when the connection moves from an “up” to
“down” state, when a connection moves from a “down” to “up” state, or when a connection is rerouted.
If you do not specify a keyword in conjunction with this command, all three types of MPLS traffic
engineering tunnel notifications are sent.
When the up k
eyword is used, mplsTunnelUp notifications are sent to a network management system
(NMS) when an MPLS traffic engineering tunnel is configured and the tunnel transitions from an
operationally “down” state to an “up” state.
When the dow
n keyword is used, mplsTunnelDown notifications are generated and sent to the NMS
when an MPLS traffic engineering tunnel transitions from an operationally “up” state to a “down” state.
up (Optional) Enables only mplsTunnelUp notifications
{ mplsTeNotifyPrefix 1 }.
down (Optional) Enables only mplsTunnelDown notifications
{ mplsTeNotifyPrefix 2}.
reroute (Optional) Enables or disables only mplsTunnelRerouted notifications
{
mplsTeNotifyPrefix 3}.
