AB1- Modulation class AB1. Provides good linearity in push-pull configuration.

ALC- Automatic Level Control
ampere- Current measurement

AWG- American wire gauge
CW- Continuous wave

EBS- Electronic bias control
Exciter- The radio that provides RF drive for the 9500 to operate
FCC- Federal Communications Commission
FM- Frequency modulation
FSK- Frequency-shift keying
HF- High frequency (3 to 30 MHz)

Ip- Idling plate current
kV- Kilovolts
kVA- Kilovolts/ampere. kVA * 0.8 = kilowatts
