Precautions for use
Keep this product and this accessory out of the
reach of children.
This product is for use with the Unique 1.0 m /
3.281 ft extension cable only.
Do not place this product in a location near
a heat source, or a place subject to direct
sunlight. Doing so may cause a distortion or
malfunction.
Keep this product away from fl ammable
objects or naked fl ame sources (such as
lighted candles).
Do not repair this product by yourself. Refer
servicing to qualifi ed personnel only.
Introduction
This product is the wireless adapter with a USB
connector. It is for use with Blu-ray DiscTM Player
only. You can use this product by connecting it to
the USB port of a system.

Operation is subject to the following two
conditions:

Wireless Radio
For product available in the USA and Canada
market, only channel 1–11 can be operated.
Selection of other channels is not possible.
The device could automatically discontinue
transmission in case of absence of information
to transmit, or operational failure. Note that this
is not intended to prohibit transmission of control
or signaling information or the use of repetitive
codes where required by the technology.
If this device is going to be operated in 5.15–
5.25GHz frequency range, then it is restricted in
indoor environment only.
Important: Any changes or modifi cations not
expressly approved by the party responsible for
compliance could void the user’s authority to
operate this equipment.
This device and its antenna (s) must not be co-
located or operating in conjunction with any other
antenna or transmitter.
FCC Radiation Exposure Statement: This
equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure
limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment.
This equipment should be installed and operated
with minimum distance 20 cm between the
radiator & your body.

Configuring a wireless Internet connection
This section describes how to configure the Blu-ray Disc
TM
player for accessing the Internet via a WiFi
connection. The procedure for connecting to a wireless network depends on various network arameters.
Read the following configuration methods to determine which instructions to use to onnect to your
network.
Wireless Setting
If no Ethernet cable is connected to the ETHERNET jack of your player, you can connect this USB
WiFi adapter to your player and then select “Interface -> Wireless” in the Network setting menu and the
following screen appears:

2. Manual mode (connection to the Wireless Network via your input SSID)
1) Press / to select Auto, then press OK.
The following screen appears.
3) Press OK to activate the on-screen keyboard. Carefully enter the network password by using the
, , / to highlight the desired letter on the keyboard, and then press OK. (If you make a
mistake, use , , / to highlight Back on the keyboard and press OK to erase the mistake.
Or highlight Clear on the keyboard and press OK to clear them, them enter again.)
4) Use
, , / to highlight Enter on the keyboard, and then press OK.
If the wireless network is functioning, a message “Connection success and IP is obtained” will
appear on the TV.
5) Press OK to close the message. The Blu-ray
TM
disc player is now connected to the network.
From now on, when you turn on the player, it will automatically connect to the network; there is no
need to repeat these steps again.
Notes:
If you do not see this message, the Blu-ray Disc
TM
player was not able to connect to the network.
If the wireless network is encrypted using an unsupported encryption, you cannot connect to the
network. You must change the router’s encryption type before proceeding.

1. Scan mode (select the Wireless Network which you scanned)
1) Press / to select Scan, then press OK. A list of existing wireless networks near the Blu-ray
Disc

player will appear (It may take several seconds for this list to be created). For example:

/ to select the desired wireless network, and press OK to confirm.
a. If the Blu-ray DiscTM player is connected to an Unencrypted Wireless Network, it will
display "NONE" in the Security list and there is NO need to enter the password.
If the wireless network is functioning, a message “Connection success and IP is obtained” will
appear on the TV.
3) Press OK to close the message. The Blu-ray
TM
disc player is now connected to the network. From
now on, when you turn on the player, it will automatically connect to the network; there is no need
to repeat these steps again.
Note:
If you do not see this message, the Blu-ray Disc
TM
player was not able to connect to the network.
b. If the Blu-ray DiscTM player is connected to an Encrypted Wireless Network, a menu
similar to the following will appear:

1) Press / to select Auto, then press OK.
2) Use
/ to select PBC or PIN.
3) Follow the instructions to continue operating the connection.
