The video-intercom kit(s) shall be Alpha Communications®
/ Golmar™ 5110/SC COLOR or approved equal. Monitor shall be
surface mounted using the provided mounting bracket. Monitor
shall include a high quality 3.5" flat COLOR screen. Monitors using
mirrors or other non-flat type screens shall not be acceptable.
Monitor handset shall feature electret condenser microphone for
exceptional voice fidelity. Handsets that include carbon transmitter
or other voice technologies shall not be acceptable. Monitor shall
include a door release button.
Power supply shall connect to standard 120VAC/60Hz. electrical
power, and shall provide the power for the electronic chime, video
monitor and camera, and intercom. Monitor shall be finished in
White plastic, with a reversible Blue/Grey vinyl insert.
The door remote station shall be flush mount type and shall include
a Color camera, infrared illuminators and momentary call button
and nameholder. Unit faceplate shall be finished in natural anodized
aluminum. If surface mounting is required also include the model#
811/Al surface back box and optional model# 711/AL Rainshield.
Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and
building codes.

The Alpha Communications® / Golmar™ 5110/SC COLOR video-
intercom kits are designed to meet your requirements
for COLOR video-intercom security, for a single entry door
(expandable to 2 or more) to a single handset style inside video
monitor unit (expandable to 3 or more), at a very affordable price.
These attractive monitors are conveniently surface mounted right
on the wall, using a provided wall mounting bracket. A small power
supply connects to standard 120VAC/60Hz. electrical power, and
provides power for the electronic chime, video monitor/camera and
intercom.
The video monitor features a crystal clear 3.5"
(measured diagonally) flat screen Color monitor, electronic
chime signalling, coiled cord and a momentary door release switch.
The monitor also feature a front-mounted 'ON' button to turn the
monitor on without being called from an entrance panel/door
station.
The compact door camera/intercom station is flush mounted, but
can be converted to surface mount using the model# 811/AL
surface box and optional # 711/AL Rainshield, and includes a built-
in Color camera, infrared illuminators, and a momentary call button.
Door station features a natural anodized aluminum faceplate.

From the inside monitor station to the outdoor remote door camera
station, run a CAT5 cable and a 2-conductor #18AWG cable, up to
200 meters (approx. 660 feet). This cable will provide the wiring
needed for the electronic chime signal, camera power, camera
video signal and intercom signal. No coaxial cable is needed!
If an electric door opener will be used, additional wiring will
be required (see installation manual for full wiring details).
