PK505 Power Supply
Architects' And Engineers' Specifications
The 12VDC power supply unit(s) shall be Alpha Communications® /
TekTone model PK505 or approved equal. Unit(s) shall provide the
power circuits needed for various functions on the intercom,
emergency-call or other related system(s).
Low voltage wiring shall be used and connections shall be made by
use of the provided 6-foot #22AWG stranded wire whip. The
PK505 is designed for indoor use only.
Contractor shall observe all local and national electrical and
building codes.
PK505 12VDC Receiver Power Supply Unit
The Alpha Communications® / Tektone PK505 is a class 2 plug-0in
power supply. It is powered by 110VAC and its output supplies
12VDC with a minimum capacity of 1 amp.
The PK505 has a 2-pronged non-polarized plug, so that is can plug
into any standard outlet. It includes a 6-foot #22AWG stranded
wire whip.
The PK505 is typically used to power the NC505ES, NC506ES,
NC507ES, NC267 and NC367 units, but can be used for other
similar type devices as well.
