The Alpha Communications® / S.T.R.™ VFS1500 QwikBUS™ Series
stations are designed to work as an apartment type open voice
video-intercom station, using a minimal of wiring. All VFS1500
stations in a building can be wired on only two (2) common (loop)
wires! The QwikBUS™ system can support hundreds of
VFS1500 stations on a single system. Choose from White and five
(5) other decorator inspired finishes.
These attractive and trim stations easily surface mount right on
the finished wall, or can flush mount over a model UMV1000 flush
plastic housing with model HWB mounting screws. Stations can
be changed to desk mount with the addition of a model TZ-VFS
(White) desk adapter.
All VFS1500 series QwikBUS™ stations selectable electronic tone
signaling, Voice On, Door Release, Call Volume, and five (5)
momentary call button switches (marked '0', '1' , '2' , '3' and '4').
These momentary call buttons can be used for calling (signaling) to
other VFS1500 series monitors, or for door release, or
other signaling functions, depending upon system configuration. All
VFS1500 series QwikBUS™ stations can be inter-mixed with the
VFS1000 series and also the VHC3033 series QwikBUS™ handset
style video-intercom monitors.

The 2-Wire open voice video-intercom station(s) shall be Alpha Communications® / S.T.R.™ QwikBUS™ VFS1500 in (White, Titanium, 24K
Gold Plated, Crystal Glass, Stainless Steel or Anthracite) color. Station(s) shall be mounted surface (standard), or flush or desktop, with
required optional mounting components. Station(s) shall feature electret condenser microphone for exceptional half-duplex voice fidelity
(requiring no pressing of any Talk or Listen buttons).
Monitor(s) shall include a high quality 4.0" color video screen (measured diagonally). Monitors using mirrors or other non-flat type screens, or
coaxial cable shall not be acceptable. Monitor(s) shall feature controls for brightness, contrast and horizontal hold.
Stations that include simplex type or other voice technologies shall not be acceptable. Station shall include a Voice On, Door Release, Call
Volume and five (5) momentary button switches (marked '0', '1', '2', '3' and '4'). Station(s) shall include a built-in (user selectable) electronic
call tone signal. Station(s) shall require only two (2) common (loop) wires for system operation.
