Playing a disc while driving on a very bumpy road may result in skips, but this will not scratch the disc or damage the player. If the surface is heavily soiled, dampen a clean, soft cloth in a solution of mild neutral detergent before cleaning the disc. New Discs To prevent the CD from jamming, “Error” is displayed if discs with irregular surfaces are inserted or if discs are inserted incorrectly.
Protecting the USB connector • Only a USB Memory, iPhone/iPod or Portable audio player can be connected to the USB connector on this unit. Correct performance using other USB products cannot be guaranteed. • If the USB connector is used, be sure to use a USB extension cable (supplied). A USB hub is not supported. • Depending on the connected USB Memory device, the unit may not function or some functions may not be performed. • The audio file format that can be played back on the unit is MP3/ WMA/AAC.

Receiving a Multicast Station (HD Radio™ mode only) RBDS Multicasting is the Ability to broadcast multiple program streams over a single FM frequency. Setting the Subwoofer System Sound Setting You can flexibly customize the unit to suit your own preference and usage. From the SOUND SETUP menu, Audio Setting can be modified. When the subwoofer is on, you can select either System 1 or System 2 for the desired subwoofer effect. Setting item: SUBW. System Use steps 1 to 4 to select one of the setting modes to modify. See the applicable section below for details about the selected setting item.

Opening Message ON/OFF Setting Clearing the Setting of Skipped Channels This unit includes a special message feature with various patterns, which when enabled displays opening messages for certain occasions. For example, when you turn this unit on December 25th (according to the unit’s date setting), a Christmas greeting is displayed if the Opening Message is set to ON. The optional SIRIUS Receiver Box may have the ability to create an undesired channel list.
1 Turn the Rotary encoder to set S-Seek Alert to On or Off, and then press ENTER . If On is set, the alert for all stored Artists/Songs is set. If Off is set, no announcements will be made. Delete All The operation will delete all alerts (artists, songs and team) stored in memory. Memory Recall You can manage the stored Alert (Artist, Songs, Sports team) individually by this setting.
