When an external
amplifi~r
is connected, sound quality can be improved
by stopping the power supply
of
the built-in amplifier.
An external device (such as a portable music player) can be connected
to the Full Speed connector
of
this unit. A conversion cable
(KCE-237B) for building up the AUX
IN
(optional)
is
required.

AUX+ ON: Sel to ON when a portable device

connected.

Use this mode when the line output of this unit

used to drive an external amplifier.

setting, the head unit's internal amplifier is
turned OFF and cannot drive speakers.
