Introduction Package contents Receiver This is intended to be mounted to the windscreen. Magnetic grounding tail This attaches to the receiver (see page 7). DAB film antenna This attaches to the receiver. Note: The DAB film antenna is delicate, so be careful not to bend it. Wireless controller The wireless controller connects to the receiver using Bluetooth and is used to control all of EZi-DAB-GO’s functions. Batteries Two AAA batteries.
Installing EZi-DAB-GO in your vehicle EN Important safety notice For your safety, do not run cables so that they interfere with operation of the vehicle, or through a location that would interfere with the function of the airbags or other safety equipment, for example seat belts. Do not install any of EZi-DAB-GO’s components in a location that obstructs the view of the driver or in a location where digital radio interference may be caused from the metal bodywork or other components.
Considerations before installing EZi-DAB-GO Minimum vehicle requirements • Fitted audio system with either aux-in (3.5 mm) or FM receiver. • Standard 12V negative earth power system - not suitable for 24V systems. Receiver overview EN Optional detachable magnetic grounding tail Power and audio out cable We recommend fitting the magnetic grounding tail if you can stick it to a metal part of your vehicle’s bodywork. It can improve DAB reception in areas with poor signal strength. See the next page for installation guidance. Status LED Lights up for a few seconds when you first switch on EZi-DAB-GO. If the LED starts to flash see ’Troubleshooting’ on page 23 for more information.
Installing the receiver We recommend installing EZi-DAB-GO’s receiver on your vehicle’s windscreen as described below (see page 5 for more information). B A 1. If you decided to fit the magnetic grounding tail, gently pull down the front of the roof liner so that there is enough room to push the detachable magnetic grounding tail through the gap.
Cable routing overview EN Installing the main cable B F A 1. Identify the location of the vehicle power outlet and the auxiliary audio input (if required). 2. Uncoil the cable (A) from the receiver (B) and place in its intended position. Check there is adequate length for the cable to run to the 12V accessory socket and the auxiliary connection.
Connecting the receiver to the power supply Plug the EZi-DAB-GO power adapter into the 12V accessory socket and then plug the USB power cable from the receiver into one of the adapter’s USB ports. Note: Cigarette lighter and power sockets can vary between car makes and models. Ensure the power adapter is completely inserted and is firmly held in position.
Installing the wireless controller EN 1. Slide the back cover from the wireless controller and fit the supplied batteries with the correct polarity. WARNING: See the ‘Safety instructions’ on page 2 for more information on fitting and using the batteries. 2. Choose an area on your dashboard (A) where you want to install the wireless controller and wipe down with the supplied cleaning wipe. Ensure the surface is completely clean and dry before adhesion. WARNING: See page 6 for positioning guidance.

BBC R2 Switching on and off If the 12V accessory power socket in your vehicle only works when you turn on your vehicle’s ignition, EZi-DAB-GO will switch on or off automatically with your vehicle’s ignition. If the 12V accessory power socket in your vehicle works even when your vehicle’s ignition is switched off, press and hold the button on the controller to manually switch off EZi-DAB-GO.
Switching on EZi-DAB-GO for the first time 1. Turn on your vehicle’s ignition to ensure that the receiver is switched on. Note: The receiver LED will remain illuminated for a short period of time to indicate that it is powered on. After a few seconds, your controller will automatically connect to the receiver. If your controller doesn’t connect to the receiver, see ‘Troubleshooting’ on page 23. 2. Choose your display language by turning the Select dial to highlight the language you want.

Pairing EZi-DAB-GO with a phone or tablet You can stream audio to EZi-DAB-GO using your phone or tablet’s Bluetooth connection. Note: Bluetooth pairing varies on different mobile devices. See your mobile device manual for specific information. To pair with EZi-DAB-GO using Bluetooth: 1. 2. Press the button. Turn and press the Select dial to select ‘SETTINGS’ > ‘BLUETOOTH’ > ‘PAIR’ > ‘BT MUSIC’.
Streaming audio stored on your phone or tablet EN Once paired to your Bluetooth device*, you can use EZi-DAB-GO’s wireless controller to browse tracks and control playback. Browsing and selecting tracks 1. Press the button. 2. Turn and press the Select dial to select ‘BT MUSIC’. 3. Turn the Select dial and press to browse to your music content. Note: If you see a `BROWSE NOT AVAILABLE’ message, this function is not supported by your device.
Streaming from a music streaming service With the Pure Go app, you can enjoy listening to music from streaming services* like Spotify, identify tracks playing on radio stations on EZi-DAB-GO and get the latest software updates† for your EZi-DAB-GO. To download the app, search for Pure Go on the Apple App Store or Google Play from your phone or tablet‡. If you want to find out more about the Pure Go app visit www.pure.com/apps/go.
Alternative station If you are listening to a digital radio station and you lose the reception, EZi-DAB-GO’s service linking feature will always try to automatically tune in to the same radio station with better reception (if available). If the radio station you were listening to cannot be found, you can set EZi-DAB-GO up so that it tunes into a radio station chosen by the broadcaster with similar content. Bluetooth settings Pair See ‘Pairing EZi-DAB-GO with a phone or tablet’ on page 16 for more information about pairing a mobile device with EZi-DAB-GO. Forget Note: If you previously forgot EZi-DAB-GO on your mobile device, you will need to use EZi-DAB-GO’s ‘FORGET’ setting to remove the mobile device before you can reconnect it to EZi-DAB-GO. To make EZi-DAB-GO forget about a mobile device or all mobile devices that were previously paired with EZi-DAB-GO using Bluetooth: 1. Press the button. 2.
Auto standby EN By default, the receiver automatically goes into standby after four hours to save your vehicle’s battery power. To change the auto standby setting: 1. Press the button. 2. Resetting EZi-DAB-GO to factory settings EN Resetting EZi-DAB-GO removes any stored presets, clears the station list and resets all options to defaults. 1. Press the button. 2. Turn and press the Select dial to choose ‘SETTINGS’ > ‘RESET’. 3. To reset EZi-DAB-GO, turn and press the Select dial to choose ‘YES’ or choose ‘NO’ if you don’t want to reset EZi-DAB-GO. Wait for EZi-DAB-GO to reset.
The Status LED on the receiver is flashing rapidly If the Status LED is flashing rapidly on the receiver it means that the wireless controller has lost its connection with the receiver. To resolve this, you will need to manually re-pair the receiver and controller. 1. Remove and re-insert the EZi-DAB-GO power adapter into the 12V accessory socket and wait 5 seconds until the Status LED on the receiver goes out. 2. Use a paperclip or pen to press the Reset button on the receiver.
I can’t connect EZi-DAB-GO to my Bluetooth device EN Check that your device is Bluetooth compatible and that Bluetooth is switched on. Check that no other Bluetooth devices are connected to EZi-DAB-GO. In the unlikely event you still cannot connect and pair manually, you can clear the previous connected device log by pressing the Reset button on the receiver after EZi-DAB-GO’s receiver has switched on (Status LED is off).

Montere EZi-DAB-GO i kjøretøyet Viktig sikkerhetsmerknad For din egen sikkerhet bør du ikke legge ledningene slik at de kommer i vei for kjøringen, eller på et sted som kan komme i konflikt med funksjonen for kollisjonsputer eller annet utstyr, f.eks. setebelter. EZi-DAB-GO-komponentene må ikke monteres på et sted som forhindrer utsyn for føreren, eller på et sted hvor forstyrrelser kan forårsakes av metallkarosseriet eller andre komponenter.
Vurderinger før EZi-DAB-GO monteres Minimumskrav til kjøretøy • Tilpasset lydsystem med enten aux-inngang (3,5 mm) eller FM-mottaker. • Standard 12V negativt jordet strømsystem - ikke egnet for 24V-systemer. Test for plassering av mottaker og trådløs kontroll før de festes på plass • Kontroller kabellengden for å være sikker på at koblingene kan rekke til uttak for lyd og strøm som benyttes for ekstrautstyr.

Montere mottaker Vi anbefaler å installere EZi-DAB-GO-mottakeren på kjøretøyets frontrute i henhold til beskrivelsen nedenfor (se side 5 for mer informasjon). 1. Hvis du har festet den magnetiske jordhalen, trekker du forsiktig ned forsiden av takforingen slik at det blir nok plass til å trykke den avtagbare, magnetiske jordhalen gjennom mellomrommet. Koble mottaker til strømtilførsel Plugg EZi-DAB-GO strømstøpslet inn i 12V-koblingen for ekstrautstyr og plugg deretter USB-strømledningen fra mottakeren inn i den ene av koblingens USB-porter. Merk: Sigarettenner og strømkontakter kan variere mellom bilmerker og -modeller. Sikre at strømadapteren er fullstendig satt inn og kan holdes på plass.
Montere trådløs kontroll 1. Skyv bort dekslet bak på den trådløse kontrollen og sett inn de medfølgende batteriene med korrekt polaritet. ADVARSEL: Se ’Sikkerhetsanvisninger’ på side 2 for mer informasjon om å sette inn og bruke batteriene. 2. Slå på EZi-DAB-GO for første gang 1. Slå på tenningen for å være sikker på at mottakeren er slått på. Merk: Mottakerens LED vil lyse i en kort periode for å vise at strømmen er slått på. Alternativ stasjon Dersom du lytter til en digital radiostasjon og du mister det mottaket, vil EZi-DAB-GOs funksjon for videreført tjeneste alltid forsøke å automatisk tune inn den samme radiostasjonen med bedre mottak (hvis tilgjengelig). Hvis det ikke er mulig å finne radiostasjonen du lyttet til, kan du sette opp EZi-DAB-GO slik at den tuner inn på en radiostasjon valgt av kringkasteren, med liknende innhold. Innstillinger for Bluetooth Pare Se ’Paring av EZi-DAB-GO til telefon eller nettbrett’ på side 16 for mer informasjon om paring av en mobil enhet med EZi-DAB-GO. LED-statusen på mottakeren blinker raskt Hvis LED-statusen blinker raskt på mottakeren, betyr dette at den trådløse kontrollen har mistet forbindelsen med mottakeren. For å løse dette, må du manuelt foreta ny paring mellom mottakeren og kontrollen. 1. Fjern og sett EZi-DAB-GO-strømstøpslet inn igjen i 12V-kontakten for ekstrautstyr og vent i 5 sekunder inntil LED-statusen på mottakeren slukkes. 2. Bruk en binders eller penn for å trykke på Nullstille-tasten på mottakeren.
Jeg kan ikke koble EZi-DAB-GO til min Bluetooth-enhet Kontroller at enheten din er Bluetooth-kompatibel og har Bluetooth påslått. Kontroller at det ikke finnes noen andre Bluetooth-enheter som er koblet til EZi-DAB-GO. I det usannsynlige tilfellet at du fortsatt ikke kan koble til og foreta manuell paring, kan du slette loggen over tidligere tilkoblede enheter ved å trykke Nullstille-tasten på mottakeren etter at EZi-DAB-GO-mottakeren er slått på (LED-status er av).
Min trådløse kontroller viser en «Mottaker kobler til»-melding Kontroller at strømforsyningen til mottakerenheten er korrekt satt inn i kjøretøyets strømkontakt. Kontroller at systemet ditt ikke er i USB-oppgraderingsmodus. Slå av og på strømmen til mottakeren din ved å ta ut og sette inn USB-strømadapteren igjen.

Draadloze bedieningsunit De draadloze bedieningsunit heeft via Bluetooth verbinding met de ontvanger. Met deze unit bedient u alle functies van de EZi-DAB-GO. Batterijen Twee AAA-batterijen.
De EZi-DAB-GO in uw voertuig installeren Belangrijke veiligheidswaarschuwing Denk aan uw eigen veiligheid: de kabels mogen de rijvaardigheid van de bestuurder, de functie van de airbags of andere beveiligingsmiddelen zoals veiligheidsriemen, niet belemmeren. Bevestig de onderdelen van de EZi-DAB-GO op een positie in het voertuig zodat het zicht van de bestuurder niet belemmerd wordt en geen storing wordt veroorzaakt door de carrosserie of andere metalen onderdelen.
Wat u moet weten voordat u de EZi-DAB-GO installeert Minimale voertuigeisen • Geïnstalleerd audiosysteem met een aux-ingang (van 3,5 mm) of een FM-ontvanger. • Standaard negatief geaarde 12V-stroomvoorziening - niet geschikt voor 24V-systemen. Overzicht van de ontvanger Optionele afneembare magnetische aardingskabel Voeding en audio-uit kabel Wij raden aan de magnetische aardingskabel te monteren door hem aan den metalen deel van de carrosserie van de auto te plakken. Dit kan de DABontvangst verbeteren op plaatsen met een zwak signaal. Zie de volgende pagina voor de installatieaanwijzingen. Status-led Als u de EZi-DAB-GO voor het eerst inschakelt, gaat dit ledlampje een paar tellen aan.
De ontvanger installeren We raden aan de ontvanger van de EZi-DAB-GO op de voorruit van uw auto te monteren zoals hieronder is beschreven (zie pagina 5 voor meer informatie). 1. 2. 3. B A 4. Als u de magnetische aardingskabel hebt gemonteerd, trek dan voorzichtig de voorzijde van de hemelbekleding omlaag zodat er voldoende ruimte is om de afneembare magnetische aardingskabel door de spleet te drukken.

De ontvanger op de netspanning aansluiten Steek de EZi-DAB-GO-voedingsadapter in het 12 V-accessoirestopcontact en steek daarna de USB-kabel van de ontvanger in een van de USB-poorten op de adapter. Opmerking: De sigaretaansteker en stopcontacten kunnen verschillen tussen autotypen en modellen. Zorg ervoor dat de voedingsadapter geheel is ingestoken en stevig vast zit. Opmerking: Andere elektronische apparaten kunnen de DAB-prestaties van de EZi-DAB-GO verstoren.
Het draadloze besturingselement installeren 1. Schuif de achterkant van de draadloze bedieningsunit af en plaats de meegeleverde batterijen met de juiste polariteit. WAARSCHUWING: zie ‘Veiligheidsaanwijzingen’ op pagina 2 voor meer informatie over het inbrengen en gebruiken van de batterijen. 2. C Kies een plaats op het dashboard (A) waar u de draadloze bedieningsunit wilt installeren en maak deze schoon met het meegeleverde reinigingsdoekje.

De EZi-DAB-GO met een mobiele telefoon of tablet koppelen U kunt audio streamen naar uw EZi-DAB-GO door de Bluetooth-verbinding van uw mobiele telefoon of tablet te gebruiken. Opmerking: bluetooth koppelen verschilt per mobiel apparaat. Zie voor gedetailleerde informatie de handleiding van uw mobiele apparaat. De EZi-DAB-GO koppelen met Bluetooth: 1. 2. Druk op de -knop. Audio opgeslagen op uw mobiele telefoon of tablet streamen Als u uw Bluetooth-apparaat* eenmaal hebt gekoppeld, kunt u de draadloze bedieningsunit van de EZi-DAB-GO gebruiken om door nummers te bladeren en afspeelfuncties te bedienen. Door nummers bladeren en er een selecteren 1. Druk op de -knop. 2. Draai aan de Select-knop en druk erop om ‘BT-MUZIEK' te selecteren. 3. Draai aan de Select-knop en druk erop om door uw muzieknummers te bladeren.
Streamen via een muziekstreamingservice Met de Pure Go-app kunt u op de EZi-DAB-GO luisteren naar muziek die van streamingservices* als Spotify wordt gestreamd, nummers op de radio identificeren en de nieuwste software-updates† voor uw EZi-DAB-GO downloaden. Gebruik uw mobiele telefoon of tablet om naar de Apple App Store of Google Play te gaan en naar Pure Go te zoeken om de app te downloaden‡. Voor meer informatie over de Pure Go-app gaat u naar www.pure.com/nl/apps/go.
Instellingen Digitale radio-instellingen Autotune U kunt de functie Autotune gebruiken om automatisch naar nieuwe digitale radiostations te zoeken en inactieve stations te verwijderen. Om de EZi-DAB-GO automatisch af te stemmen houdt u de Select-knop op de draadloze bedieningsunit ingedrukt. De EZi-DAB-GO kan ook automatisch afstemmen via het menu: 1. Druk op de -knop. 2. Draai aan de Select-knop en druk erop om ‘INSTELLING’ > ‘DIG. RADIO’ > ‘AUTOTUNE’ te selecteren.
Bluetooth-instellingen Koppelen Zie ‘De EZi-DAB-GO met een mobiele telefoon of tablet koppelen’ op pagina 16 voor meer informatie over het koppelen van de EZi-DAB-GO met een mobiel apparaat. Wissen Opmerking: Als u de EZi-DAB-GO eerder hebt gewist op uw mobiele apparaat, dan moet u de instelling ‘Wissen’ van de EZi-DAB-GO gebruiken om het mobiele apparaat te verwijderen voordat u het opnieuw kunt verbinden met de EZi-DAB-GO.
Automatisch stand-by De ontvanger gaat standaard automatisch na vier uur uit om de accu van uw auto te sparen. Zo wijzigt u deze instelling voor automatisch stand-by: 1. Druk op de -knop. 2. Draai aan de Select-knop en druk erop om ‘INSTELLING’ > ‘AUT STANDBY’ te selecteren. 3. Draai aan de Select-knop en druk erop om een stand-bytijd tussen 2 en 8 uur te selecteren.
Versie U kunt controleren op welke softwareversie de ontvanger en bedieningsunit van de EZi-DAB-GO momenteel draaien: 1. Druk op de -knop. 2. De fabrieksinstellingen van de EZi-DAB-GO resetten Als u de fabrieksinstellingen van de EZi-DAB-GO opnieuw instelt, worden alle opgeslagen keuzestations verwijdert, wordt de lijst met radiostations gewist en worden all opties weer standaard ingesteld. 1. Druk op de -knop. 2. Draai aan de Select-knop en druk erop om ‘INSTELLING’ > ‘RESET’ te selecteren. Wacht totdat de EZi-DAB-GO opnieuw is ingesteld.
Bijlage Problemen oplossen Ik kan de fabrieksinstellingen van de EZi-DAB-GO niet resetten via de draadloze bedieningsunit Als u het menu ‘RESET’ niet op uw draadloze bedieningsunit kunt vinden, kunt u de toets Reset op de ontvanger van de EZi-DAB-GO gebruiken om de fabrieksinstellingen opnieuw in te stellen. Opmerking: u hebt hiervoor een paperclip of pen nodig. Zo stelt u de fabrieksinstellingen van de EZi-DAB-GO opnieuw in: 1.
De draadloze bedieningsunit reageert niet 1. Controleer of de batterijen van de draadloze bedieningsunit leeg zijn. Als dit zo is, wordt het display niet verlicht als u de op drukt op de -knop.. 2. Controleer of de ontvanger stroom krijgt. U kunt dit testen door de stroom naar de ontvanger uit en weer in te schakelen. Het status-ledlampje gaat 5 seconden aan om te bevestigen dat er stroomtoevoer is. 3.
Het DAB-signaal wordt steeds onderbroken Controleer of er geen belemmeringen zijn (zie pagina 5 voor meer informatie). Gebruik alleen de meegeleverde adapter. Controleer of er geen andere elektrische producten in uw auto gebruikt worden die mogelijk storing van het DAB-signaal kunnen veroorzaken. Zorg dat de afneembare magnetische aardingskabel correct is gemonteerd. Geen geluid, geluid is te zacht Controleer via het menu Bluetooth-instellingen of uw apparaat met de EZi-DAB-GO verbonden is.
Ik kan de DAB-zender niet horen Als u de FM-zender gebruikt, controleer dan of u de autoradio hebt afgestemd op de FM-frequentie waarop de EZi-DAB-GO uitzendt (zie pagina 21). Als u de EZi-DAB-GO hebt aangesloten op de lijningang of aux-ingang op de autoradio, controleert u of de juiste ingangsbron op de autoradio hebt geselecteerd (raadpleeg de handleiding van de fabrikant). De audio valt geleidelijk weg als het DAB-signaal erg zwak wordt en gaat ‘ratelen’.
