Before Using Bluetooth
Before using the hands-free phone/audio function, the
following settings need to be made.
1 Set “Bluetooth” to [On] (page 17).
2 Register a Bluetooth device in this unit (page
16).
• You can search for this unit using a Bluetooth compatible
device, and then connect that Bluetooth compatible device to
this unit. The device name of this unit is “iLX-507”,
“iLX-F509”, “iLX-F511” or “i509” and the initial number of
the passcode is “0000.” Also refer to the Owner’s Manual of the
connected device(s).
Hands-free Phone Control
Touch [ ] (Phone) in the HOME screen or Source
mode screen to display the Phone menu screen.

• The Device List screen is displayed when a Hands-free Phone,
Apple CarPlay or Android Auto device is not connected.

Recent Call
You can display up to 90 items, such as phone numbers
of the most recent incoming calls, missed calls and
outgoing calls, and contact names that are registered in
the Phone Book. When 90 items exist in the list, the
oldest item is deleted when a further item is to be
added.

You can make a phone call from the Phone Book.

Use to type a phone number.
Setup
Displays the Phone Setup Menu screen (page 22).
Switch Device
You can switch between Hands Free 1 and Hands Free 2.
Answering a Call
1 An incoming call triggers the ringtone and an
incoming call display.
2 Touch [ ].
The call starts.
• During a call, the audio for the current mode on the unit is
muted. After calling, playback will resume.
• When the caller’s number is transmitted to the system, if the
caller’s name is stored in the phone book, the name is
displayed. If the name is not stored, the number is displayed.
• Touch [
] (Decline) to reject an incoming call.
• By touching [
], you can mute the microphone. To cancel
MUTE mode, touch [
]. For details, see “Phone Operation
Screen” (page 57).
• When 2 Bluetooth compatible devices are connected, one is in
a call and the other receives an incoming call, the screen
indicates the incoming call. To answer the second call, hang
up the first call, and then touch [
] on the screen of this
unit. Or you can answer the call directly with your Bluetooth
compatible device.
