Buchholz Indentation Tester
Instrument Description
1. Indentation Tool
2. Upper eyepiece to adjust the sharpness of the scale
3. Lower object lens to focus on the surface
4. Illumination
Place the indentation tester carefully on the surface
for 30 sec.
How to perform the Buchholz
Indentation?
Mark the position of the instrument pins before lifting it up and
without touching the instrument
How to find the indentation mark?
Place the plastic guide over the marked position (see picture)
