7.1.2 Troubleshooting FiberGateway
The table below, according to the state of the LEDs, identifies a possible cause and describes the
procedure to correct the problem.

No power supply for

- Check that the power cord is properly
connected to the equipment and the
adapter to the electrical outlet.
- Check that the equipment switch is in
the ON position.
ETHERNET

Incorrectly connected
ETHERNET cable
- Verify that the Ethernet cable is
properly connected to the Ethernet port
of the machine.
- Replace the Ethernet cable.
- Check that the machine is switched
on.
PON LINK (1)
OFF
Fiber optic signal
anomaly
- Check that the optical cable is
correctly inserted in both the optical
connector of the equipment and the
optical outlet.
- Check that the optical connectors are
in good condition and clean.
- Check that the optical cord is intact,
not cut or twisted.
