122 AltiWare ACC 5.1 Administration Manual
Incoming Ring
Type
Single—Default setting for North America
Double—For countries using Ring-Ring-Silent type of ring
pattern
Centrex Flash
Duration (ms)
Specifies the Flash Duration time in milliseconds, with a range
from 50 ms to 1000 ms. This setting complements the Centrex
Flash Support option in the General tab for the trunk.
Detect Trunk
Status By Loop
Current
When selected, the analog trunk will check the loop current
and if connected will change the state to “Idle.” If not selected,
the trunk will check circuit DC voltage to determine the trunk
status. Do not change this setting without consulting with
AltiGen Technical Support.
Enable Caller ID
Receive
When selected, the system will wait for caller ID FSK signal
before answering the incoming call. In North America,
typically it takes two rings to receive the caller ID from the CO.
If your trunk does not have caller ID service, you can uncheck
this box to speed up the answering process.
Out of Service With
Trunk Seizure
When checked, if the trunk is set to Out of Service, the system
will busy out the trunk. The CO will treat this trunk as a busy
line and WILL NOT place a call to this trunk. (By default, this
option is unchecked.)
Call Setup Select from:
• Enable Dial Tone Detection (Outgoing)—When
enabled, the trunk channel must detect outgoing dial tone
prior to making the call.
• Enable Answer Debounce (Incoming)—Enables a
timeout period of 2 seconds (for ignoring false CO
disconnect signal), after answering an incoming call.
Disconnect
Supervision
Select from:
• Tone—busy tone (reorder tone, fast busy tone, error tone,
and so on) or dial tone (continuous tone, and so on). This
should be used in conjunction with drop in loop current. For
COs who cannot guarantee loop break, this may be the only
option.
• Polarity Reversal—a reversed battery signal.
Loop Break Signal either 200 or 600. 600 ms is common
in North America.
Receive from CO
(dB Gain)
Slide setting adjusts the gain from the CO to the trunk from
0 dB to 7 dB for every Quantum Trunk channel.
The default setting is 0 dB, and it is highly recommended not
to change this setting.
Caution! Setting the volume too high will cause distortion in
voice quality and/or missed DTMF digits.
