Caring for Your Radio
Note : DO NOT operate the radio without a proper 50 Ohm antenna
attached, as this may damage the radio
Connecting the antenna
Align the base of the antenna onto the SMA connector
and turn clockwise until snug. Do not over tighten.
Disconnecting the antenna
Turn the base of the antenna counter-clockwise to
disconnect it from the radio.

radio will give you years of trouble-free service if cared for
properly. Handle the radio gently. Keep the radio away from dust. Never put the
radio in water or in a damp place. Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures.
Only use the supplied rechargeable batteries and desktop charger for
recharging your Cobra microTALK
®
radio.
Please charge new batteries for 8 hours for rst time of use.
Cobra recommends your radio is turned off while being charged.
