Overview:

These power distribution modules convert a single DC input into sixteen (16) individually fused or PTC protected outputs.

Installation Instructions:

Wiring methods shall be in accordance with the National Electrical Code/NFPA 70/NFPA 72/ANSI, and with all local

codes and authorities having jurisdiction. Product is intended for indoor use only and should be installed

by qualified personnel.

1. Refer to Sub Assembly Installation Instruction for mounting Rev. MS042511.

2. Connect the desired UL Listed power supply output of a suitable rating to terminals marked [INPUT] (Fig. 1a, pg. 2).

3. Measure output voltage before connecting devices. This helps avoid potential damage.

All terminals with common suffix P 1P, 2P...” are same polarity.

4. Connect each device to terminal pairs 1 to 16, marked [1P-1N] through [16P - 16N] (Fig. 1, pg. 2).

For DC applications “N” terminals are negative and “P” terminals are positive. Note: Observe polarity.

Note: This product is a UL Listed Sub-Assembly for use with Altronix UL Listed power supplies as indicated in the

installation manuals for the power supply.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose the unit to rain or

moisture. Replace fuses only with the same type and rating 3.5A/250V.

Evaluated to CSA Standard C22.2 No.205-M1983.

• 12VDC or 24VDC up to 10A.

Fuse Ratings:

• Fuses are rated @ 3.5A/250V.

PTC Ratings:

• PTCs are rated @ 2A/250V.

Visual Indicators:

• Power output LED indicator (PD16W, PD16WCB).

Board Dimensions (W x L x H approximate):

6” x 5.875” x 0.95” (152.4mm x 149.225mm x 24.13mm).
