Chapter 4 - Operation and Administration
The default passwords are:
4.6.2.2 Reset Unit
Select this option to reset the NPU. To avoid unintentional reset, you will be
prompted to confirm the reset request. Changes to some of the configurable
parameters are applied only after reset.
Refer to Section 4.12 for information on which parameters are changeable in run
time and which changes are applied only after reset.
4.6.2.3 Set Factory Defaults
Select this option to set the Base Station and NPU parameters (excluding the
access Passwords) to their factory default values. The parameters will revert to
their default values after the next reset.
Refer to Section 4.12 for information on the factory default values of these
parameters.
4.6.2.4 SW Version Control
The NPU can contain two SW versions:
Main: Each time the NPU resets it will reboot using the version defined as
Main.
Shadow: Normally the Shadow version is the backup version. Each time a new
SW File is downloaded to the NPU, it will be stored as a Shadow version,
replacing the previous Shadow Version.
The typical process of upgrading to a new SW version includes the following steps:

CAUTION
Setting the parameters of the NPU to their default values will disable remote management of the
Base Station since this affects the IP and Ethernet parameters and will delete all Authorized
Managers.
