Chapter 4 - Operation
CPE PRO, CPE PRO-L, CPE Si and CPE Si-L use first generation Intel
WiMAX Connection 2250 chip. CPE PRO2, CPE PRO2-L, CPE Si2 and CPE
Si2-L use second generation (IEEE 802.16e-ready) WiMAX chip. The “L”
suffix indicates that the SU was supplied with limited capabilities (limited
bandwidth).
» Serial Number
» MAC Address
» MAC Address Control Number (a number computed from the MAC Address
that can be used for verification purposes)
» Radio Band
» HW Version: The version of the digital module
» HW Configuration
» RF Version: The version of the radio module
» SU Interface Type (Si CPE): In the current release only Ethernet is available
» Smart Card Status (Si CPE): Installed/Not Installed/Fault
Ethernet Port Operation Mode parameters and status (applicable only for
E-model units)
» Ethernet Port Auto Negotiation Enable/Disable
» Ethernet Port Speed and Duplex
Operation Mode: Advanced Si or Standard (not applicable in current version
supporting only Advanced Si mode). Standard is the air protocol of the first
generation BreezeMAX systems. Advanced Si is the air protocol used in the
WiMAX-ready systems, providing full support for Self Install SUs. In the
current release only Advanced-Si mode is applicable.
Unit Status: the connectivity status of the unit. Possible statuses are:
