table will be deleted and the SU will initiate a Full Scan (all defined scanning
frequencies and all BSTs/AUs in the defined range).
The same process will be executed following a reset of the SU, with one exception:
The SU will search for the BST/AU to which it was previously connected for one
minute only.
The BST/AU ID Parameters menu includes the following options:
Show
BST/AU ID
BST/AU ID Mask
Preferred BST/AU ID
Preferred BST/AU ID Mask
Selected BST/AU Parameters
Best BST/AU Table
4.6.1 Show
Select this option to view the Best BST/AU parameters. These parameters are
applied only after reset. Therefore, actual values may differ from configured
values. For each parameter both the current and configured values are displayed.
In addition, the details of the selected AU (if applicable) are shown, These details
include the BS ID, RSSI (dBm) and SNR (dB) of the received signal.
4.6.2 BST/AU ID
Select this option to define the BST/AU ID. This is the base BST/AU ID used
together with the BST/AU ID Mask to define the range of BSTs/AUs that can
synchronize with the unit.
The BST/AU ID comprises 6 groups of up to 3 digits each, where the range of each
group is 0 to 255. The first 3 groups form the Operator ID. The next 2 groups form
the Cell ID, and the last group forms the Sector ID.
The default BST/AU ID is 186.190.0.0.250.206
