BreezeMAX CPEs Product Manual 103
recommended to set this parameter to 10 db if an interfering signal in the SDARS
band is received at the SU's site at a level exceeding -40 dBm.
The available options are 0 or 10 dBm.
The default is 0 dBm (no attenuation).
4.7.5 Bandwidth
The Bandwidth parameter may not be available in units that support a single
bandwidth. In units where more than one Bandwidth option is available, select
this option to define the bandwidth of the signal.
The options are 1.75 MHz, 3.5 MHz and 5 MHz. Only the options supported by the
specific unit will be available.
The default 3.5 MHz.
NOTE
RSSI readings do not take into account the Rx attenuation. This means that when the Rx Attenuator is
set to 10 dB, the actual RSSI is higher by 10 dBm from the RSSI value in the Link Quality Display (see
next section).
