Installation Guide

Installation Instructions
Step 1:
Hold the mirror up on the wall near eye level, or exactly where you’d like it placed.
Tip: If the mirror is too large or heavy to hold, have a second person assist or use a carpenters
level or laser level instead.
Step 2:
Mark the wall at the center of the top of the mirror with either a pencil or piece of painters tape.
This is the wall mark.
Step 3:
If you have one hook: On the back of the mirror, measure the distance from the top of the frame to
the center of the stretched wire. This is the adjustment measurement.
If you have two hooks: On the back of the mirror, hold the wire taut at the two points of the wire
where you intent to place the hooks. This should ideally be 6” in from both side of the frame.
Measure the distance apart that you are holding. This is the hook spacing. Now measure the
distance from the top of the frame to the center of the stretched wire while holding it at the hook
spacing. This is the adjustment measurement.
Step 4:
If you have one hook: On the wall, measure the adjustment measurement down from the wall
mark. This is where to hang the hook on the wall.
If you have two hooks: On the wall, measure the adjustment measurement down from the wall
mark. This is the center point of your hook spacing. Mark the end points of your hook spacing,
keeping the center point mark centered. The two end points are where to hang the hooks on the
wall
Step 5:
Hammer the hook(s) into the wall. It is always best to hammer into a stud, but your mirror will be
safely secured in drywall as long as you use the number of hooks included with your mirror. To be
extra secure, you can use drywall anchors instead of the hooks provided if desired.
Step 6:
Place mirrors stretched wire on hook(s) and straighten.
