(P/F) Rotate the rotary encoder in either direction to ensure that all LEDs can be
lit, one at a time. Ensure that there are no strange “jumps” in the lighting pattern.
Note that source PC2 should still be selected for this test.
(P/F) Move the rotary encoder such that the highest volume LED is lit (fully CW).
On the rear panel, connect logic input L1 to the ground pin in the same 4-way
connector. The lit volume LED should commence flashing. Disconnect L1 from
ground. The volume LED should stop flashing.
(P/F) Move the rotary encoder and observe the Comms LED. It should briefly flash

Ensure that the power LED of the unit is lit. If not, press the power button.
This section to be completed once external control panel specifications
have been defined.
6. Basic Amplifier Check :
6.1. Left Channel
Setup
Signal generator = 350mVAC, Sine, 1kHz
Signal input = DVD1, left channel RCA input
Power state of unit: ON
Selected source on unit: DVD1
Volume on unit: MIN (lowest volume LED lit).
Bass/Treble on unit = flat (use Eq Flat button on IR remote to reset this)
Load: Connected to left channel amplifier output
Procedure
Set volume on unit to max by rotating the volume control CW until the highest
LED is lit.
(P/F) Measure the voltage on the load. It should be 20VAC (+/- 2VAC), with
no gross signal clipping evident.
6.2. Right Channel
