Cleaning and maintenance
DANGER!
Risk of electric shock.
There is a risk of electric shock due to live parts.
− Before starting any cleaning or maintenance work, always
ensure that the mains plug has been disconnected from the
safety socket (do not pull on the mains cable, but on the mains
plug). If the plug is not accessible, the corresponding fuse for
the mains electricity supply to the house needs to be switched
off.
DANGER!
RISK OF EXPLOSION AND FIRE.
Explosions can occur due to the formation of gases.
− Do not use any flammable liquids to clean the appliance or any
parts of the appliance.
− Do not use any defrosting sprays. They could cause the
formation of explosive gases.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage.
Damage to the appliance caused by improper handling.
− Except for those recommended by the manufacturer, do
not use any other mechanical equipment or other artifi cial
methods e.g. electrical heater, hot air blower or hair dryer to
speed up the defrosting process.
Sensitive surfaces:
− Do not use any sharp or abrasive cleansing agents on the
inside of the appliance, the door of the appliance or the
housing of the appliance because these items could damage
the surfaces.
