Clear the Enable check box to disable CIFS.
The default setting is ‘Enabled’.
5 Enter the network path in the Network Path text box.
6 Enter the domain name in the Domain Name in the text box.
7 Enter the username in the Username text box.

Test CIFS Settings
Test that the CIFS settings are configured corretly.
Procedure 77 Test the CIFS Settings
Step Action
1 Select Setup on the Web User Interface banner to display the setup menus.
2 Select Event Settings from the Events and Actions menu.
3 Select the CIFS tab.
4 Select Test.
A sample text file is sent to the specified CIFS destination to confirm that CIFS settings are
correct.

Snapshot
Snapshot is an image still of the current camera view saved in JPG file format. Snapshot can be
generated without the need of an SD card.
Procedure 78 Enable a snapshot
Step Action
1 Select Setup on the Web User Interface banner to display the setup menus.
2 Select Event Settings from the Events and Actions menu.
3 Select the Snapshot tab.
4 Select the Enable check box to enable Snapshot.
OR
Clear the Enable check box to disable Snapshot.
The default setting is ‘Disabled’.
5 Select the Record Source stream from the drop down menu.
