Door Handle Assemble Kit

For Models Baby Countryside & Winchester units

• Verify the collar is adjusted to 2 ¼” from the

end as shown.

• Slide the handle through the door and into the

spring and cam as shown. Line the set screw on

the cam up to the dimple in the door handle.

• Tighten the set screw.

• If adjustment necessary.

• To adjust the door latch press the cam against

the door, slide the collar toward the cam until

the allen wrench hits the door and can go no

further.

• Tighten the set screw

Operation: Attach door (continued) NOTE: The top and bottom hinge pins can be moved in or out to adjust the amount of pressure on the rope gasket when the door is closed. They also balance the gasket pressure between the left and right sides. The top hinge pin can be moved left or right to adjust the centering of the rope gasket on the door frame The following 4 tests check the door alignment and pressure. 4.

Operation: Attach door (continued) 6. The 3rd test confirms that the rope gasket is adequately centered on the doorframe when the door is latched tight. Chalk the doorframe as shown and then latch the door tight to transfer the chalk from the doorframe to the rope gasket. Open the door and see that the chalk lines are approximately centered on the gasket. Minimum requirement is at least .06” between the edge of the chalk and the edge of the gasket. 7.
