Mini Ethernet Media Converter
The American Fibertek MTX1M-FX and MRX1M-FX Series transmits
and receives 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet signals at the RJ45 port and
100 Base-FX at the optical port over one or two, multimode or
singlemode, fibers. The system is comprised of two units (MTX1M to
MRX1M) forming a point-to-point communications link.
The system is designed to be completely transparent with auto
negotiation features which automatically configure the units for the
correct speed (10/100BaseTX). Auto MDI/MDIX operation eliminates
the potential need for crossover cables. Diagnostic indicators provide
a quick visual indication of Link, Activity, and Speed status.
A rack mounting tray with power supply is available for mounting up to
10 modules.
