Installation Guide
SAFETY INFORMATION
• Read all instructions before beginning. Save these instructions for future use.
• To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, pay close attention
to this manual and stay within its guidelines when using this product.
• To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, this fixture must
be grounded.
• This product requires a 120-240V AC power input. Confirm source voltage prior to
installation.
• Disconnect supply power at the source prior to installation.
• Fixture is designed for installation to 4” recessed round and octagonal junction
boxes. Confirm junction box is suitable prior to installation.
• Do not remove any parts from this fixture. This fixture has no serviceable parts.
• LEDs are bright. Do not look directly into fixtures.
• This product is suitable for use in wet locations and is designed for surface
mounting only.
• Do not use this fixture with wall dimmers or in dimming circuits. Control On/O
functions via switched branch circuit.
These products may represent a possible shock or
fire hazard if improperly installed or attached in any
way. Products should be installed in accordance
with these instructions, current electrical codes,
and/or the current National Electric Code (NEC).
This product must be installed by a person familiar
with the construction and operation of the product
and the hazards involved and in accordance with
current electrical codes and/or the current
National Electric Code (NEC). Consult a local
licensed electrician if you are unsure of or have
questions about installation.
INSTALLATION (SEE FIGURE 1):
Disconnect supply power from source prior to installation.
1. Remove the two retaining screws located near the fixture’s mounting bracket, set aside, and separate the wall plate from the fixture body.
2. Connect the fixture’s lead wires to the supply wires, matching polarity: Black to Black/Hot, White to White/Neutral and Green to Bare/Ground
using wire nuts included. Ground screw is located on the mounting bracket.
3. Attach mounting bracket to 4” recessed round or octagonal junction box using the two included #8-32 j-box mounting screws and
corresponding washers, making sure ground screw is facing the fixture.
4. Slide the fixture body onto the mounting bracket, making sure not to pinch any wires. Replace the two retaining screws, tightening securely.
5. For a rain-tight seal, apply silicone caulking around the perimeter of the housing where it contacts the mounting surface, leaving a small gap at
the bottom. Also apply silicone to the top retaining screw.
