BUN FEET INSTALLATION and WOOD FINISHING TIPS

REQUIRED FOR INSTALLATION

HIGH-SPEED 7⁄16” DRILL BIT

⁄ -18” THREADED INSERT NUT

INCLUDED WITH PURCHASE:

• SOFA, CABINET, or OTHER FURNITURE • BUN FEET with HANGER THREAD BOLT • SCREWDRIVER

• POWER DRILL • HAMMER • MEASURING TAPE or RULER

• PENCIL

If your existing threaded insert does not match your new American Pro Decor bun foot, two installation options are available.

OPTION ONE: OPTION TWO:

Remove the old metal insert with a screwdriver. Drill a new hole approximately 1 to 1 ⁄” deep

using the supplied ⁄” drill bit.

Replace with the supplied ⁄ -18” threaded insert

nut. Use a hammer to tap in the insert nut.

Insert the provided insert nut as shown in

Option One.

Install your new American Pro Decor bun foot. Install the bun foot.

One drill bit per order. American Pro Decor assumes no liability for improper installation.

WOOD FINISHING TIPS FOR UNFINISHED BUN FEET PREPARING TO STAIN Decide which type of stain to use. You could use either an oil based or acrylic based stain. Whichever you decide, you will also be using the same type of sealer to finish up the staining process. When staining, make sure the room temperature is between 70 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit for best results.
