DXV WARRANTIES
LIMITED WARRANTY
DXV by American Standard warrants to the original
consumer purchaser that it will, at its option, repair or
replace any of its solid surface plumbing products found by
it to be defective under normal use and maintenance within
five (5) years from the date of first purchase. The decision
whether to repair or replace is determined by DXV in its sole
discretion. Proof of purchase (original sales receipt) must
be provided with all warranty claims
This warranty is provided for the exclusive benefit of
the original consumer purchaser. This warranty is non-
transferable, with the sole exception of when a plumber,
contractor, or other service provider purchases solid
surface plumbing products, in which case the warranty
extends to the first owner on whose behalf the products
were purchased or installed.
The limited warranty DOES NOT COVER the following:
Defects or damage arising from shipping, installation,
alterations, accidents, abuse, misuse, lack of proper
maintenance and use of other than genuine DXV
replacement parts, in all cases whether caused by a
plumbing contractor, service company, the owner or any
other person
• Deterioration through normal wear and tear
Expense of normal maintenance—periodic replacement
of washers, seals, etc. is a normal maintenance
requirement.
Postage or shipping costs for returning products for
repairs or replacement under the limited warranty and
labor or other costs incurred in connection with product
removal or installation under the limited warranty.
ANY LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL
DAMAGES, ALL OF WHICH ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY
DISCLAMED, OR THE EXTENSION BEYOND FIVE-
YEAR DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE
OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR PURPOSE
INTENDED. (Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations
on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion
or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so
these limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.)
Responsibility for compliance with local code
requirements. (Since local code requirements vary
greatly, distributors, dealers, installation contractors and
users of plumbing products should determine whether
there are any code restrictions on the installation or use
of a specific product.)
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have
other statutory rights that vary from state to state or from
province to province, in which case this warranty does not
aect such statutory rights.
SOLID SURFACE—CARE AND USE
Daily Cleaning Instructions
Use soapy water, or liquid detergents to remove most basic
residues and stains. To prevent hard water marks or dull
surfaces, always rinse and dry the surface thoroughly after
cleaning. Do not use strong acid or alkaline drain cleaners.
Stubborn Stains and Minor Scratches
To remove stubborn stains and minor scratches, dierent
cleaning techniques are required, depending on the finish
types.
MATTE WHITE FINISH is low or no-sheen finish oered on
one side of the countertops. Apply abrasive cleaner to your
hand pad or a damp sponge, and then scrub in a small
circular motion.
GLOSSY WHITE FINISH is higher and reflective sheen
found on countertops, top/basins and vessels. To remove
stubborn stains, spray a non-abrasive cleaner over the stain
and wait for a couple of minutes. Then scrub in a small and
overlapping circular motion with a wet sponge. Do not
use abrasive cleansers, pads or steel wool. To enhance the
visual color clarity and hide minor scus, apply Countertop
cleanser available at any hardware stores. Wipe away
excess cleanser with a soft cloth or paper towel. To
remove scratches, polish the surface sequentially with
800/1500/2000 grit sandpaper and water, using small
and overlapping circular motions. Dry the water o with
a clean and dry soft cloth. Then polish the area using a
microfiber auto or soft cloth. Then complete the procedure
by applying a commercially available car wax. Should there
be a variation with the surface finish, proceed with waxing
over the entire surface. For a final touch, you may apply
Countertop cleanser available at any hardware store or
supermarket.
Prevent Damages
DXV solid surface is durable, tough, and easy to care for.
The high gloss and matte surface will retain its lasting
luster with proper care and maintenance.
Harsh chemicals, sharps, and abrasive objects should
never be used on solid surfaces. Accidental spills or
splatters from harsh materials should be wiped o
immediately and then rinsed with water. Harsh materials
include drain or toilet bowl cleaners, rust, or varnish
removers, paint solvents, lacquer thinner and products
containing acetone like nail polish removers.
Do not use wire brushes, knives or sharp objects to
remove stains or other surface blemishes.
While solid surface resists heat, it is still important to
minimize direct heat exposure to protect the product. Do
not place hot appliances such as hot curling irons directly
on the surface.
Do not allow nail polish remover, acetone, dry-cleaning
fluid, paint remover, or other solvents to come into
contact with the surface.
Clean the surrounding surface immediately after using
caustic drain cleaners.
