DXV WARRANTY CARE AND USE

DXV WARRANTIES
LIMITED WARRANTY
DXV warrants to the original customer that it will, at its
option, repair or replace concrete plumbing products
found to have manufacturing or structural defects within
one (1) year from the date of first purchase. The decision
whether to repair or replace is determined by DXV in its
sole discretion. Proof of purchase (original sales receipt)
must be provided with all warranty claims.
This warranty is provided for the exclusive benefit of
the original consumer purchaser. This warranty is non-
transferable, with the sole exception of when a plumber,
contractor, or other service provider purchases concrete
plumbing products, in which case the warranty extends
to the first owner on whose behalf the products were
purchased or installed.
This warranty is solely for integrity, function and structure
of the concrete plumbing products. Staining and wetting
are part of care and maintenance not the “function” of
the concrete. As with many solid surfaces, there may be
a level of care and maintenance required. The care and
maintenance is the end user responsibility.
The limited warranty DOES NOT COVER the following:
Defects or damage arising from shipping, installation,
alterations, accidents, abuse, misuse, lack of proper
maintenance and use of other than genuine DXV
replacement parts, in all cases whether caused by a
plumbing contractor, service company, the owner or any
other person
• Deterioration through normal wear and tear
Expense of normal maintenance—periodic replacement
of washers, seals, etc. is a normal maintenance
requirement.
Postage or shipping costs for returning products for
repairs or replacement under the limited warranty and
labor or other costs incurred in connection with product
removal or installation under the limited warranty.
ANY LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL
DAMAGES, ALL OF WHICH ARE HEREBY EXPRESSLY
DISCLAMED, OR THE EXTENSION BEYOND ONE-
YEAR DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY OR
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THOSE
OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR PURPOSE
INTENDED. (Some jurisdictions do not allow limitations
on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion
or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so
these limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.)
Responsibility for compliance with local code
requirements. (Since local code requirements vary
greatly, distributors, dealers, installation contractors and
users of plumbing products should determine whether
there are any code restrictions on the installation or use
of a specific product.)
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may
have other statutory rights that vary from state to state
or from province to province, in which case this warranty
does not aect such statutory rights.
CONCRETE—CARE AND USE
This concrete lavatory is sealed to protect the surface
finish with a very stain resistant sealer. Although it resists
acidic liquids, spills should be cleaned up promptly. Harsh
cleaners with bleach and ammonia will not hurt the
surface with infrequent use, but they may degrade the
sealer overtime. This may result in resealing the surface
quicker than would have been required.
Avoid placing hot items on the surface that are above
the temperature of boiling water. Although concrete is
very heat resistant, you may damage your sealer.
Do not leave tape on the surface of your concrete
lavatory. The resins in the tape can bond to the sealer
and damage the sealer when removed.
Avoid abrasive cleaners as they will slowly remove
the sealer.
Dragging objects across the surface that are sharp or
abrasive may scratch the sealer.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS
WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL
OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN,
STATUTORY, EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED.
