If freezing weather or long term absence is

anticipated, drain the water.



If freezing in winter

The water in the SpaLet

seat may freeze and cause damage during winter or other times when the wa-

ter temperature is signiﬁ cantly low.

Perform the following procedure to prevent freezing and related damage.

Do not disconnect the power plug from the outlet. Leave the power turned on. Turn oﬀ any active power

save function.

If the bathroom can be heated:

Refer to the "General Freezing Prevention Procedure" section.

If the bathroom cannot be heated:

Refer to the "Draining the Water to Prevent Freezing" section.

General Freezing Prevention Procedure

1. Set the [Seat Temp.] to “High” and close the toilet lid.

2. Turn oﬀ any active ECO function.

3. Heat the bathroom.

CAUTION

Make sure to follow one of the freezing prevention

procedures whenever there is a possibility of freezing.

* Damage from freezing may cause ﬁ re or ﬂ ooding.
